Skylark Cafe in Leslie, Arkansas is a one of a kind restaurant nestled in the foothills of the Ozark. It is currently in its 15th year and has been a tried and true lunch and dinner spot for visitors and locals alike. Owners, Joy and Denver Ellis have unmatched dedication when it comes to excellent food and an atmosphere that is full of personality. This family friendly restaurant boast a plentiful year round menu as well as delicious seasonal specials using locally sourced ingredients whenever possible.
Serving fresh, made to order food using their own seasonings and homemade dressing has been a hallmark of Skylark Cafe. Over the last few years they have upgraded other elements of the menu to include more local ingredients, animal fats and butter, pastured meats and some long fermentation sourdough bread with certain specials. The food is delicious and unique, the brisket is smoked onsite and the house made desserts are now using organic sugar. They offer locally bottled spring water
