The Swamp Rabbit Cafe is a wonderful place to go for anyone in the local Greenville area to find farm raised food. It is a refuge for people traveling who want to eat and purchase real food. It is a restaurant with prepared food and a grocery store with many more real food options. Whenever my family and I are passing through, we stop to stock up on raw milk. Their bread is made from scratch (not sourdough), and much of the food they prepare meets Weston A. Price principles, which is hard to find! Most ingredients are local at the cafe. Although organ meat dishes are not served at the cafe, you can purchase organ meats in the grocery store. They mostly do not serve bone broth at the cafe, but you can purchase it in the store and at times, the cafe can steam or heat it up for you. Most salad dressings are made with olive oil. Kombucha is served on tap at the cafe and other brands can be purchased in the grocery store.
