Revitalized American comfort food, locally sourced and naturally raised. 99.9% of their beef, chicken, pork, eggs, bread, and staff are local. Most items are seasonally inspired and made from scratch. The menu changes weekly and they most often identify the farm for their meat, seafood, cheese, and bread but if it's not listed on the menu, the servers will know! They do not have deep fryers so there is no detectable rotten oil smell in the restaurant. In their "Small Plates" and/or "For Sharing" section of the menu, you will generally find a pate, braunschweiger, or a slightly unusual item (one of my favorites is the crispy baked chicken gizzard). They also incorporate local cheese (a few are raw milk cheeses made with A2/A2 Jersey cow milk) and local mushrooms into many of their dishes.
