In the heart of the Arts District of downtown Tulsa, Chimera Cafe serves beautifully prepared, satisfying breakfast, lunch, and dinner dishes that bring out the full potential of a broad selection of vegetables, fruits, and legumes. Chimera serves primarily vegan and vegetarian dishes made almost 100% in house. Any animal products they offer are sourced from farms that raise their animals humanely on pasture. At the time of this review, Chimera offers dishes that include cheese, eggs, and bacon. Their vegetable stock is made from scratch in their kitchen, and their house bread is homemade sourdough from a starter that they have been using for many years. Their desserts are prepared in house and use a variety of sweeteners including turbinado and honey. Chimera is also a coffee shop that serves up coffee from multiple roasters - some local - and has an extensive cocktail bar that spotlights fresh fruit juices. Chimera is environmentally conscious and supportive of the local food movemen
