D.C.'s first and only bakery that operates an in-house mill and sources wheats, legumes, and grains from local farms. True sourdough bread: 100% whole wheat, natural leavening, long fermentation, and baked in a hearth oven. Baking bread from ancient grains, like einkorn, rye, sorghum, millet and barely to name a few. Offers both sweet and savory items with rotating selection of pastries all made from ancient grains. Whole Wheat Pizza on Friday nights, they sell out of items fast so get there early!!
