I have always had a good meal here. The steaks are cooked as ordered. It has a welcoming, friendly atmosphere.
In the past they have served raw, homemade sauerkraut, but this is rare now as the past few years it has been difficult to have enough staff for this. They do make some of their own salad dressings in house. They get local lamb and beef, and have a local supplier for salmon from Alaska. They use organ meats when they have wild game and fishermen feeds. They use local honey in their desserts.
