My name is Mary Walkes. I have been a WAPF chapter leader for almost 10 years. I have attended seven of the last seven WAPF conventions. Our Yankton chapter has meetings once a month where we discuss WAPF principles, have demonstrations, share foods, and show videos from the conventions. We have a library within a local college library of books and videos that we have donated to the college. These materials are shared throughout the country using inter-library loan. We have had booths at many different venues.
I am a Registered Nurse with a Masters in Nursing and a certified GAPS practitioner. I live on a farm where I practice Holistic management techniques on a 90 acre pasture. The WAPF has transformed my life from one of a traditional nurse wondering why "we" do the things we do to make people "healthy" to a person who feels like they are headed in a Steven Covey "True North."
The restaurant rating program will help to disseminate the incredible principles of the WAPF in a very big way. During the two interviews I did yesterday, I made inroads that were not possible with any of the other helpful methods of information dissemination that WAPF already utilizes.
